Are flat-fee influencer deals slowly being replaced by affiliate and commission models?

Over the last year, I've noticed more brands moving away from fixed sponsorships and experimenting with affiliate commissions and performance-based partnerships.

For creators, it can mean higher long-term earnings if content keeps converting.

For brands, it reduces upfront risk and aligns incentives.

Do you think performance-based creator partnerships will become the standard over the next few years, or will flat-fee deals still dominate?
