4th leaf has come up

My alocasia has just added a 4th leaf to the 3 it had. Now I need to get it to start making corms. It's in a heavy clay soil amended with cut-up coconut husks and mango tree bark from a fallen tree. Temps are in the mid 30°C, lots of rain, lots of sun. What else do I need to do?
