I’m a solo dev who got tired of habit apps resetting my streak to zero just because I had one hectic travel day. It made me quit every single time.

So I built Tenor around a different philosophy: behavioral analytics over binary streaks.

Instead of just counting "days in a row", it calculates three separate scores from your actual data:

· Consistency Score (long-term dedication over months)

· Momentum Score (short-term velocity, so you know if you're slipping)

· Reliability Score (how stable your completion actually is)

The main motivator for me is the GitHub-style yearly heatmap (screenshot attached). Seeing a full 365-day grid fill up with shades of green is way more satisfying than a simple number, and one grey square doesn't ruin the whole picture.

Other things I prioritized:

· No account required. Everything stays local on your phone (with optional Google Drive backup if you want).

· Flexible scheduling. You can set habits for "3x a week" or "Weekdays only" – not just daily.

Would love feedback from this community. What’s the one metric that actually keeps you going? Streaks, or something else?
