AITA or did I receive bad service at McDonald's?

So yesterday I (33f) was at McDonald's. I just needed something quick to eat. I come in and there was this young boy who looked maybe… 16 - 18??? He was already walking away as I came in. At first I assumed he didn't see me. So I simply say hi, he then turns back around and says sorry, but he just clocked out but someone else will take you.

I get wanting to go home, but I'm just one quick customer, and I was also in a hurry myself. I said you can't just quickly take my order before you leave. This time I could sense the attitude under his tone, he said no because he's not getting paid for it. He then walked away and it kind of slipped out, but it was because I could again sense the attitude and called him rude, and he sarcastically thanked me.

I'm usually not that type of customer, but he was clearly ruee, and all I was going to order was a burger, fries, and a drink. It's not that hard to quickly ring that up. This other boy now takes me. He looks around the same age as him, and I tell him about the other boy. I feel like he didn't really know what to say. He said sorry about that but also said they aren't allowed to work after clocking out.

I understand but taking my order would have taken less than a minute. Especially since it's slow, he didn't have to prepare the food or anything, let alone be rude. Just simply ring me up and take my money. Either way the boy did take my order and it was fine afterwards, but I still don't appreciate the other boy's attitude. AITA?
