Used claude for some CMM study related work, saved myself hours and blew away my expectations.

Discussion

Can't really share the results here as I don't want to publicly share customers prints but when I run studies for customers parts as part of the PPAP approval process I have to take their GD&T print and balloon every aspect and feature to relate to the report which comprises of a simple number inside of a circle next to the feature on the print and the remaining data for that feature is on the report its self...not necessarily difficult but it can be very time consuming ballooning and putting all the relevant data in excel format depending on the print.

So I decided to let Claude take a shot at it. I was expecting to get it somewhat started and fill in the gaps myself but it blew my expectations out of the water. This bastard ballooned EVERYTHING, over 80 features. Then it proceeded to give me an excel breakdown of each feature and all relevant information, it even highlighted anything it wasn't too sure about for me to physically verify (8 things that turned out to be correct to begin with). The amount of time and hassle that this saves me is incredible, even after manually verifying everything is correct I am hours ahead.

This is a game changer for one of the most annoying parts of my workload.
