Jealous partner and a dead bedroom

Doesn't it seem contradictory? When it comes to you two it's like the problem doesn't exist, but at the same time they're terrified someone will tempt you by offering to do what they won't. So they are aware, but only in a context where they're the victim. Does this happen to you? Am I being unfair?
