Studio Apartment Home - how to handle food? Any recs to consider?

Wondering if anyone has the same setup as us. We have a totally separate studio apartment on our property which is where our au pair will be staying at. It’s a guest home about 200 feet away from our main home. We keep it cute and stocked like an airBnB. What might be the best way to handle food? Our LCC always said just buy extra of what you have and keep it in your home but has never had a setup like ours. I’m a big snacker/eater which is probably why I’m overthinking it. How would you manage food in our situation? Any other recs for other scenarios I may not have thought of?
