[M4F] - An anthology series, finding the right partner
New account, long time DPP writer here.
I’ve always liked anthology-style stories and shows. Black Mirror, The White Lotus, American Horror Story, things like that.
Different stories, different settings, different dynamics, but the same core “actors” stepping into completely different roles each time. There’s something really fun about seeing the same chemistry play out in new ways depending on the situation.
That’s kind of what I’m looking for here.
Not just one specific prompt, but a partner to actually build stories with. Someone who enjoys writing, but also doesn’t mind a bit of ooc conversation (dare I say it’s in the name, write and flirt). Someone who wants to try different ideas instead of locking into a single plot and staying there forever.
Some stories can be soft and slow. Others a little more tense or playful. Some more grounded, some a little more dramatic. It really just depends on the mood and what we feel like exploring at the time.
The main thing I care about is the connection between us carrying across each new story.
Like most of my prompts, I prefer building things together rather than following a strict outline or checklist. I’m not big on controlling your character, and I’d rather let things develop naturally based on chemistry.
I write in the first person. Replies can be shorter or longer depending on the flow. I do not usually list kinks because I enjoy seeing where mutual interest and chemistry naturally take us. I am happy to discuss them beforehand if needed, but I don’t want it to feel like a shopping list to work through.
Discord is heavily preferred.
If you’re looking for more of a long term writing partner than just a single prompt, we’ll probably get along pretty well.
I know DPP requires a specific prompt, so consider the writing below a sample of my style. It leans into a classic “morning after” scenario.
Hope to hear from you.
I wake up slowly.
The light of the morning sun peeks through small gaps in the curtains. Not all at once, just that gradual awareness that something feels… off.
The room is unfamiliar. The sheets are softer than mine. The light is different, warmer somehow. The air smells faintly like perfume, sex, and weed.
I shift slightly, the haze of last night still hanging over me, when I feel a leg brush against mine.
There’s someone next to me.
I’m not alone.
I can feel your warmth without even looking. The steady rise and fall of your breathing as you sleep beside me.
For a moment, I don’t move.
I just lie there, staring at the ceiling, trying to piece together how I got here. Fragments come back, but nothing clear enough to feel solid.
A drink. A conversation. A laugh that felt easier than it should have. A kiss. Your tongue against mine, my hands pulling you close, our skin pressed against one another as I slid inside you for the first time.
I turn my head slightly, just enough to look at you without making it obvious.
Fuck…
I should probably leave. Slip out before the awkwardness of whatever comes next.
Instead, I hesitate as you start to stir beside me.
