Brutal one last night.

I built 6 combo tickets, and without really realizing it, I kept coming back to the same team..

The Arizona Diamondbacks!

I had them in..

Two 3-pick combos

One 4-pick combo

One 7-pick combo

The crazy part?

Most of the other reads were actually right.

The combo that didn’t include Arizona hit, while almost every combo featuring them died because they lost.

The 4-pick especially hurt as it would’ve cashed if I’d simply left Arizona out or picked any other team like Baltimore Orioles. The 7-pick also missed because of the Cubs as they won over Dodgers, but Arizona was already enough to sink it.

To make it more painful, my reliable Hundred cricket plays also had a rough day.

I backed London Spirit in both the men’s and women’s matches. The women’s loss stung the most as they were building what looked like a strong first innings before the rain interruption completely changed the momentum.

Anyways, an expensive day, but a good reminder..

In combos, repeating the same leg across multiple tickets makes it more specific and concentrated than you realize.

Sometimes you’re not making six different trades.

You’re really making one bet… multiple times.

Thought I had six different combo tickets. Turns out I really had one.
