Smoke Cleansing Questions

Hello! I’m sorry if this is the wrong thread to ask these questions. However, I’m looking to smoke cleanse my house this weekend. I should preface this by saying I’ve never done it before and I want to make sure it’s done correctly and safely as to why I’m here.

I have two cats, a kitten and two dogs. I wanted to ask those who have animals, is smoke cleansing dangerous for them? If so. How do you go about cleansing your home with them? If smoke cleansing is off the table, what would you recommend as an alternative?

Also, when you do cleanse your home, what would you say while doing it? Would you speak your intentions the entire time?

If these questions are dumb I’m sorry. I’m not well versed at all.

Thank you so much!
