First Time Attendee Seeking Advice

Some friends and I are planning a roadtrip from Toronto to the Ohio area for a sports weekend and were looking at going to the Nov 14th game against Northwestern.

I was wondering a few things and was hoping the community might be able to help me out:

- are tickets likely to get cheaper closer to the date of the game? I realize a huge factor will be how good/bad Northwestern are but just curious what peoples thoughts are on this

- any recommendations for best part of the stadium to sit/sections to avoid?

- what is the tailgating scene like? My only other experience is LSU so will be curious to see Big 10 vs SEC

Any other general tips/recommendations would be welcomed and appreciated.
