April 15th, 2024. Uresh.
Guess it just wasn't the right time before now. Took over two years to find it and there it is. Popped into mind while I was sitting at the table feeling furious, indignant. Outraged at perceived infringement. And bam, 'Uresh' pops in along with Hubris. Two years wondering if it was a name I'd been called, or a slur assigned to me, or a command that was given. Why was it said to me? When was it said?
and all we'd find is the babylonian gate. every search.
and the whole time it was sitting in the same place I found my 'bones'.
Uresh in Avestan refers to "joy" or "happiness." It is associated with positive emotions and is part of the spiritual and ethical teachings found in Zoroastrian texts.
and even on recognizing that it sounds similar to these other words I've been seeing recently, I still held off. I waited until now to look if uresh meant anything in avestan. why did I wait.
why is the time right now?
