Anyone know the game I'm describing?

Was living in the UK and my friend's mom played board games with us. One was a game similar to monopoly but you only go around the board once I think with the game ending once one player reaches the end. Might have had a car boots sale theme? That part I'm unsure about. It definitely has paper money and bidding on items. The board had artwork on it that reminds me of British newspaper comics
