Esp32 & TFT White screen

So I’ve connected the board up to the display. EXACTLY like the instructions say and wrote my code for the display and nothing happens literally nothing maybe the white dims but that’s it. Anyone know why? It’s ILI9488 apparently but not sure bc it’s a cheapish display
