Looking for a backend developer to join an early-stage startup

Hey everyone,

We're a small founding team at Marketech Labs, currently building Local Media, an early-stage startup focused on solving a real-world local information problem.

We've recently assembled our founding team and are now looking for one backend developer who wants to build something from the ground up.

Tech stack (flexible):

• Node.js / NestJS or FastAPI (open to discussion)
• PostgreSQL
• REST APIs
• Cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Docker experience is a plus)

We're looking for someone who:

• Loves building products, not just writing code.
• Enjoys solving architectural problems.
• Can work independently and communicate well.
• Wants ownership rather than just tasks.

This is an early-stage startup, so transparency is important:

• It's a founding-stage opportunity.
• Equity/compensation will depend on experience and availability.
• We're looking for someone interested in building for the long term.
