Ive already made one for a hypothetical Strategist concept, but upon reading the comics including guest appearances and other non solo title appearances I actually find that making him a Strat severely limits his overall versatility with the rings, so I want to see how one could hypothetical add every single ability Shang-chi has shown in the comics since his obtainment of the ten rings, as a challenge to myself, and i found that the best way to do that was as a dps

The abilities he has shown since are

Teleportation/portal generation

Energy Barrier creation

Concussive blasts

And of course the basic uses such as launching them, using hem telekinetically and empowering himself with them

What im going for here is a system similar to Daredevil’s Infernal Fury and his Fury charges, the main goal here is to make him versatile, like a jack of all trades boosted by combos and an aggressive play style

Also im gonna go insane with this kit, this is designed to be kind of overpowered, but to be fair, number tweaks can do wonders if this is what they go for lol

Passive - multiple jumps and wall running similar to Iron Fist

Passive - Ring charges: Shang-Chi has a meter below in the form of the ten rings. They recharge passively with about 2.5 seconds per ring and also gain a ring for every melee and primary attack landed. This is visually indicated by the rings, as for every one ring charge you get, one ring starts to glow

R2 - 6 hit combo empowered by the rings, can be weaved with R3

R3 - quicker weaker attacks that can change the original R2 combo if timed correctly

L2 - hold down L2 then press R2 for a whip attack similar to Black Cats, requires at least 5 rings

R1 - (Infernal Fury): this is what the entire kit will revolve around, he won’t just have 2 but many different abilities when this is activated. This has no cool-down but is dependent on how many rings you have

R1 + R2, send out rings as projectiles instead of your normal melee attack, does decent damage, and can be be held to continue sending out more until all ten rings need to charge, costs one ring per shot up to 10

R1 + L2, charge up a concussive blasts (energy beams if you will, this is comic accurate trust me) from the rings, hold to charge up the beams from more rings to increase the number of shots, cannot move while doing this

R1 + L1, target and bind an enemy for up to 1 second, any damage taken will immediately free them, costs 5 rings, base 5 second cooldown as well

R1 + Circle, create an energy barrier around yourself to protect you, omni directional and grants cc immunity but you cannot move while doing so. Costs 10 rings

L1 - send out a ring whip to pull enemies in

Circle - dodge, similar to  Star-Lord but maybe without the immunity, 2 charges, 6 second cooldowns, if you have 10 rings it becomes a short distance teleportation similar to Magik

Ultimate: The Spirit of Zheng Zu and the Wyrm of Desolation begins to corrupt Shang-Chi’s soul, causing him to unleash the full power of the Ten Rings without regard for safety

This give enhancements more so to the R1 variation abilities

R1 + R2 acts more like an instant shotgun with 10 charges

R1 + L2 no longer requires charge up, and using this move in the air will rain down a barrage of concussive blasts to the ground in an area causing a bombardment of explosions and dealing high damage

R1 + L1 the stun can now target 2 people at once,

R1 + Circle release a burst of divine energy around the area knocking enemies back (a little) and dealing damage
