another nose pad question

recently got my first pair of glasses! had them adjusted today because they were slipping down my face a lot. they adjusted the arms and the position of the nose pads to be more secure!

im just wondering if its normal for a little pain from the nose pads to happen? i have little red marks and its a little uncomfortable. is it similar to the headache i have from wearing my glasses for the first time?

for reference i am asian so maybe my small nose bridge is contributing to pain? i have a pretty light prescription and my glasses are half rim so i dont think theyre too heavy. thank you!
