Darkseid has crossed into the Marvel Universe and claimed the Phoenix Force as his own.

He then allies himself with an Infinity Gauntlet-wielding Thanos, fusing him with Doomsday, granting Thanos Doomsday's limitless evolution, regeneration, and overwhelming physical power.

Together, Phoenix-Darkseid and Doomsday-Thanos unite the Legion of Doom, the Masters of Evil, and the combined rogues' galleries of Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and the X-Men.

Using their combined power, they merge the main DC and Marvel Earths into a single world, where Gotham stands beside New York, Metropolis borders Wakanda, Atlantis shares the seas with Talokan, and every hero and villain now exists on one planet.

The invasion begins.
