Joshua’s Fall

Part 1-

A family smiles in the sunlight

A lady with blood hair of honey and a child of purity.

A man named Joshua stands for them.

A helldiver who was allowed to return home and protect his family when Illuminate ships were heading towards Earth during the SE Invasion from the Illuminate.

A short window,a window of time,gone in a dime.

Andrew his child and Rebecca his wife smile as he returns. They enjoy the freedom and happiness democracy provides in their society. Andrew laughs as Joshua shows him his favorite childhood toy,a teddy bear.

Andrew is given Teddy to remind him that Joshua is always with him. Then the shadows came,the ships blotted out the sun.

Joshua stood strong,and defended his neighborhood. As neighbors fell and houses blew apart,he did his best to hold the line until SEAF and Helldivers could arrive but he did not know they were fighting for their lives as well. They would not be coming. Joshua desperately worked on the experimental breakthrough mech he was building as he fought. A sword and rocket launcher now attached to the shoulder and shotgun.

Just as he finally powered the Mech,Rebecca screams

Andrew watches in horror

Joshua sees the beauty of his life turned into a voteless. Rebecca then ends the purity of a child with one quick slice. Joshua sees his happiness turn to pain. The pain,the hate of pain. PAIN! The Illuminate then surround Joshua and make him fight his wife. Joshua hesitates and cries as Rebecca stabs him and slices at him. He defends and make a few feeble attempts but cannot bring himself to kill her. He begs Rebecca to listen,she rushes and grabs him tight. For a second she squeezes his spine,the stops, and hugs him. She cannot speak and Joshua sees the horror of what his beauty has become. Joshua sees the fragments of blond hair left still. Rebecca then grabs his gun and shoots the parasite within her. Ending her suffering.

Joshua screams,Joshua hurts. Joshua hops in his mech. He destroys everything. The neighborhood,the fleet on earth,the city was a walking hellfire of dead illuminate and Joshua’s pain. When forces finally arrived to the city to assess the damage and enemies.

There was nothing but a screaming mech in the fire destroying everything around it. The helldivers through an emp and pulled Joshua out. This was no longer a helldiver but a screaming father who lost everything and destroyed everything in return. Joshua was taken to democratic health and happiness program to help him. Attached to the recovered mech was a teddy bear with a helldiver’s helmet.
