Oil Recommendation - 1999 328i Sedan 6-cyl manual

Please recommend an oil for a 1999 328i with 155,000k miles. Northeast climate, weekly (not daily) driver. Reading that the BMW LL-01 specification is required of whichever oil is selected. What should I try? What have you used?
