Closed up skylights, is this the correct insulation?

Hi All,

As the title says, I had a few skylights closed up. My friend who does decent Sheetrock work isn’t coming for a few weeks. I also didn’t think about the massive amount of conditioned air I would lose through these things. This area of the house has no attic.

My questions;

Is this foam insulation directly on the plywood enough?

Is it even correct?

Do I seal the gaps? If so, what type of foam or caulk?

Do I remove all Sheetrock inside the box before closing up?
