E14 gen 7 for industrial engineering

I’m starting industrial engineering and data science this year and I think the best laptop for me is a thinkpad E14. I don’t have the budget for the T14 or P14 so I’m going for the E14.
I’m gonna use it for a bit of CAD only light work in class and mostly programming, ML models and NLP according to my syllabus.
What cpu is better for those stuff, the ultra core itel core ultra 7 258V or the 255H? Also I will buy 32 GB RAM with 1 TB SSD and windows 11 pro.

I’ll love to get help as I haven’t found a lot of reviews on those specs on thinkpads on the internet.
