Looking for fast-paced suspense books without gore or "inappropriate" themes for a treatment stay

I will be admitting to a 6 week mental health/trauma inpatient treatment program this week. We are allowed to bring books, but anything with a lot of gore or inappropriate themes won't be allowed. I know the word inappropriate is super vague.. definitely anything with a lot of focus on substance use, suicide, etc.. I'd say a storyline that's heavy on kidnapping or abuse is probably off the table too. The images and summary on the front and back cover are probably the most important.. if any of those themes come up in the book but aren't obvious without actually reading it, that's totally fine! I'm not bothered by them at ALL.. I just don't want to bring up a bunch of books they're going to take away immediately! Any suggestions? Open to anything but particularly looking for fast-paced suspense type books. :)
