Just had vegan meat for the first time
For context I'm vegan for 4 months and I literally never ate tofu, seitan anything veganish, only whole foods, because they're rare in my area. Today I went to BK. I saw they had a plant based whopper. I was so excited, so I got it, and first bite I legit thought they accidentally served me real meat. Like, I've been associating meat with cruelty and violence, so it was kind of an uncanny valley. I mean, I know there were no animals harmed, but it was just meat, but it wasn't, so the first few bites felt weird, but then I adjusted. Now I understand why some of y'all that live in the us/europe etc. say you gained weight when you went vegan! Like it was so good to have "meat" after all this time
