Earthbore Cave Reward

For completing Earthbore Cave, you'll get five smoldering butterflies (a bunch!), a Trina Lily, and a Spelldrake Talisman. My question is, what should we take away from this?

Earthbore cave is one of the caves connected to the candle-stands, which all feature a unique chest at their starts. These are the same candle stands we find in the Haligtree. A good deal of care went into these caves - they are their own puzzles, and are not at all typical.

I have wondered about a Melina-Trina alliance based on this particular item drop. Not sure if the Spelldrake talisman tells us much, or if its just there to be there.

What do you think? What is the reason for this drop being there? No reason? Lore for why we find them there? Further storytelling lore? I'm curious what people think. Thanks for taking the time to answer!
