Cute Skyrim story

Just wanted to share one of the reasons I love this game! Background is Im a 44 year old mum of a 17 year old who basically lives in his room with his gaming PC (which I dont mind as Ive always loved gaming) anyway I never get chance to play anything as usually too busy but one afternoon a while back the house was tidy, errands all complete and there was nothing on tv so I thought Id see what all the fuss was about Skyrim (my husband played it 15 years ago and keeps going back to it and the teenager got obsessed a few years ago). Husband and teen were so thrilled I wanted to have a go so they set me up on the dust-laden, abandoned ps4, got me a cup of tea and off I went. I bloomin LOVED it (and play on easy mode as im actually fairly useless at running in a straight line nevermind killing things 🤣) and that was 4 months ago and Im still obsessed ❤️

But the most lovely thing ever about it all is my teen often comes downstairs and plonks himself next to me and laughs at my hopelessness, helps me whenever I ask, and weve unlocked a whole new thing we do together and can talk about it for hours! and that for me is the BEST thing! How many parents of 17 year olds who disappear into their own worlds can say theyve just discovered a wonderful way to bond and spend time together.

And guess what- i just bought Oblivion and now we are both playing that ❤️ although he’s a lot further on than me 🤣🤣
