Organized all our cookware/kitchen appliances! Yay. I’m slowly moving through the garage and house and decluttering, reorganizing, etc. and have been fairly successful so far. Still have a long way to go, but I’ve made a lot of small changes and progress that’s made me feel pretty proud.

I’ve done a fairly good job of maintaining this and putting things back in their “home”. All positives. However, I keep getting discouraged because of my mother. She lives me and my fiance and we help take care of her. I even organized it in a way so all the stuff we use frequently is easily accessible for her and she won’t have to bend as much.

But she won’t even try to put things away neatly, no matter how many times I’ve discussed it with her and basically have begged her to *try*. I try to be very patient and understanding because honestly, my brain works the same way and it’s a challenge for me to keep it up, too. So I get it. It just makes me feel so defeated that all my work gets undone seemingly overnight. And then I have to redo everything again and again.

Any advice on keeping motivated?? Some days I just want to throw in the towel haha

How to stay motivated with someone who won’t try to keep up with the organization
