Any news on stock availability direct from Steam (UK)?

I am completely computer game-less after a tremendously long period travelling. I'm aware that the SteamDeck's price has gone up quite exorbitantly here in the UK but, *honestly*, I still want one. Trouble is, they're out of stock here currently and I'm wondering if this is just a standard stock shortage that we've become used to or whether it's more long-term as a result of the hardware costs going up.

I'm only asking because I am **so bored**. And I'm looking at the in-stoxk Switch 2 here, which is days away from going up in price. They're currently going for £380, but this will be £430 at the end of the month.

So that's where I'm at, really. It's the amount of time I have to wait, otherwise I'd just happily get the Switch to scratch the itch a bit.
