Here's my review on my perfume secrets house.

Came upon this brand from youtubers as usual, tried a few samples at first and found them surprisingly high quality.

From favorite to least favorite (My taste):

1. Absolute Aphrodisiac:

This one is probably the sexiest vanilla fragrance I own, it is different than your usual vanilla stuff.

It has a funky animalic leather smell mixed in (Sounds weird but smells crazy). It's funky, not skanky.

Liked it so much I got a full bottle.

If you like clean fragrances, you will hate this. But It's animalic done right.

Lasts for 2 days on clothes but projection is very weak.

10/10

2. Oceania:

This is an amazing freshie with a lot of depth.

It's citrusy from start to finish, there is a very soothing floral note (not the generic jasmine or lily), dry down is very complex, drydown is similar to other roja clones I tried actually (Elysium, Apex, Enigma).

Performance is amazing, lasts 7+ hours, projection is very strong for 1 hour.

It is not airy or watery so can't overspray.

I planned on getting a full bottle but it's sold out.

9.5/10

3. Sartorial:

This is my favorite barbershop fragrance.

It's masculine but its pretty sweet so not your typical barbershop shaving foam type of stuff.

It's very elegant and has a lot of depth.

But there is a reason why I didn't get a full bottle, this smells too similar to Brut EDT, like a more refined and upclass with less lavender, more honey version of it.

Performance is good, lasts 8 hours, projects moderately for 45 mins I think.

I have brut original and the one from master perfumer (beast btw), while this one is better in smell profile, its redudant for me.

9/10

4. Aqua drip:

This is basically hawas ice but with a floral drydown rather than a aquatic woody drydown.

Its fruity, fresh, musky and mass appealing. Does not have that eggy smell hawas and ice have.

It does cloy me tf out which hawas ice doesn't.

Performance is remarkable, projects very strong for 2 hours, lasts 6 to 7 hours.

8/10

5. Tonka cola:

Pour coke, add some cherry candy, some cinnamon powder, vanilla essence and mix it. On the other hand take a quick sniff of cough syrup and then immediately smell this mixture.

Dont let the Initial blast of cough syrup smell fool you, it smells like a creamy cola after that.

It does feel a bit synthetic, but I personally love wearing this. Worked for overcast summers too.

Not blind buy safe

Performance is great, lasts 7 to 8 hours with moderate projection.

8/10

6. Naxos:

Beautiful scent profile.

Tobacco left in vintage honey kind of vibe. Very classy winter scent.

Very sweet but it still gives vintage old money kind of feel.

Only reason this is low is because I have a better alternative from the perfume experience which has a even more vintage honey note and performs way better than this.

Performance - good, lasts 8 to 10 hours, projects well.

7/10

7. Herbes troublantes:

I fell for the hype created by Fragrance Flan and was relentlessly searching for this DNA.

Let's just say I won't take his advice anymore (Didn't like outlands or aquatica).

This is by no means a bad scent, its just underwhelming.

Its citrusy and then straight up herbal, that's all.

Opening is fresh due to citrus and green feel combination. But once the citrus wears off you smell like a pharmacy.

Probably should have gotten a tester instead. Still a decent summer scent so it's all good.

Performance is meh, lasts 4 to 6 hours on clothes, projects great for 1 hour. Soft after 1 hour.

It is a fresh batch so maceration may change my verdict

5/10

8. Profumo

This one unfortunately smells like rotten fish and incense on my skin.

I have had my fair share of aquatic fragrances with calone or calypzone, some smell fishy or eggy but kind of work. Even Sargasso from ababel smelled like fish to me but I somehow love that scent profile (Drydown smells heavenly on fresh skin (mine)).

But this one is off putting, mainly because the fresh incense is making the sea smell more obvious.

I loved the bentley silverlake, clone of essenza, rest of the adg lineup never appealed to me tried them all at shoppers stop.

Performance is great, projection is very strong for 1 hour, lasts 6 hours plus.

2/10

Overall house rating:

1. Quality - 9/10

2. Presentation - 7/10 (Outer Packaging and cap can be better)

3. Variety - 10/10

4. Customer Service - not perfect (Slow to respond in calls)

Overall a solid brand that exceeded my expectations the first time but not so much the 2nd time.

Their variety is crazy, prizes are different based on raw materials I guess since each perfume is priced differently.

Not a budget house but personally think it almost competes with middle eastern stuff.

Thanks for reading 😁
