Becoming a Plumber
Hey folks,
I'm newly 25 and working as an arborist making around 60,000 a year. If I'm being honest, I don't have a lot of hope for moving upward in the large companies around my city (Pittsburgh) since it's a get out when you're dead type of mentality around here. I was thinking about becoming a plumber, it's a trade I've always been fascinated by and I think I would enjoy the work. My main concerns are am I too old to make the pivot and am I likely to get to that same pay threshold within a couple years before moving on to make more or start my own small business in another 5. I've got a house, a wife, and two kittens to take care of so I want to make sure I can earn for us.
