I once Had a girl in my life
I still remember the girl I once spoke to all day—the one whose voice accompanied my long walks and made the world feel less lonely.
Even now, when I hear an echo of her voice in my memory, my ears grow strangely numb. And the way she used to look straight into my eyes—then call my name—made me feel as though I were hearing it for the very first time.
Years have passed, and it takes longer now for her face to appear clearly before my eyes. Perhaps time has softened the details, but it has never erased what she meant to me.
What went wrong? Where did she disappear? Somewhere in the hurried pursuit of life, we lost sight of each other and quietly became strangers.
Still, a small part of me hopes that one day, when neither of us is looking, our paths will cross again—and for a fleeting moment, the years between us will disappear.
