Abysmal socket crafting help

This league is the first one I am really deep into endgame and crafting bis gear. I am running a cyclone CoC soulrend Assasin with the aim to tank almost everything. It's a ES stacker so definitely want to get the max out of it.

I am struggling with Abyss sockets as applying a resonator isn't possible with metamods like "Prefixes can not be changed". How do you all typically craft with it? I now fractured it on my helmet and used dense fossils to finish my prefixes but it would be way easier if I could fracture another mod but obviously rolling a couple hundred resonators with dense fossil and the socket one will be expensive.
