Is it a good idea to have a medical bracelet?
Age 21 F, 5 foot
I had two heart surgeries when I was little to treat my TOF (Tetralogy of Fallot) during one of those surgeries I had a blood transfusion. They of course gave me the correct blood type, but not the correct antigen. So I now have antibodies (Anti-E) in my blood. One of my doctors said this could be an issue to be aware of for future blood transfusions or pregnancy (which already dealt with that). Would be smart of have TOF and Anti-E on a medical bracelet in case of car accidents, etc? How should I write it?
Also wondering how seriously TOF and the Anti-E thing should be taken. Where I'm located most doctors don't know what TOF is or care about it. Thank you in advance!
