Getting my P2… still…

I’ve been trying to get my P2, I started in January, and have only had one session with my instructor… in 8 months… one session. What the hell.

Obviously I trust him to make the call based on the conditions, but I feel like one session in 8 months is crazy. He’s explained that flyable wind for new pilots is 9-12mph not gusting over 20mph, and I’m not contesting that. I’m just wondering if anyone else has taken a year or longer just to get their P2, and if so, how you handled it w your instructor.

Not giving the school/instructor/location bc I want some level of anonymity here, but it’s a California coastal school. Thanks yall
