Do a bouquet of roses have meaning?

A gentleman caller, gifted me three bouquet of roses, one red, one orange and the other yellow.

Both the red and orange wilted within a week which is fairly average.

While the yellow after two weeks is still going strong

I know the saying the longevity of a bouquet somebody gives you shows their feelings for you.

What does it mean if the orange and red wilt on average but the yellow stay strong … ?
