Question about the Count’s Wife in “Guardian Angels of Desire (5)” (Volume 3)

I understand why the Count saw his wife’s actions as a betrayal, but I keep wondering if there was more to her situation.
Even if she ultimately chose to participate willingly, could she have been threatened or coerced by the Apostles? The world of Berserk is so brutal, and women seem to have so little power or freedom in that society. If she was surrounded by literal monsters, how much choice did she realistically have?
I also wonder if the same could be said about Theresia. I’m curious how other readers interpret the Count’s wife’s situation.
