Slim low-profile keyboard

The MX Keys is too thick and squishy for my liking. The Keys-To-Go looks perfect, but since I'm not traveling with it, I want to remove the cover entirely. Can anyone confirm if the cover is actually detachable?

I'm looking for a form factor similar to Apple's magic keyboard, and keys-to-go may be it!
