Night had fallen, the groans coming from outside having ceased since we first arrived at the motel. It had taken us about 20 minutes to scope the place, wanting to be sure it was safe before we laid our heads down to relax. The place was pretty much abandoned, as was the case with so many others since the outbreak had happened, collapsing humanity within a month. There were some pockets of civilisation that remained safe and untouched, though heavily guarded and wary of strangers. The most important thing about this motel, however, was that there was hot water, and a clean room, a luxury these days.

You stood on watch first as I got myself cleaned up, grabbing a seat near the window. The lights were dimmed; we didn't want any unnecessary attention. I stepped out, having throughly used the facility to satisfaction, my hair still wet and a towel wrapped around my body. I saw you sitting on the chair, looking over the map on the table before you glanced my way, another emotion coming to your face.

I smiled, letting the towel drop down as I carefully walked over to where you were sitting, settling myself in your lap. Your hands came up to grope my cheeks, my hands going around your neck as I placed a sweet kiss on your lips, glancing at the map.

An apocalypse setting, something along the lines of a zombie virus outbreak, one which has forced our characters on the road, trying to survive each day. A stepmom and stepson, a tabboo pairing, finding solace in one another. I am open to modifying this but I'm hoping to keep the pairing as it for the rp, though if you have any other ideas please let me know.
