Well I could never find the one I needed (2013-18 rav4) BUUUUUTTTT I did some research and found you could get just the fascia for the model and the canbus decoder (super important) for like $40.

The tablet part of the radio is held in by 4 screws. I pulled it out of a Subaru fascia

(after reviewing with images and actually plugged in with a modified canbus power adapter so I could showcase the functionality) and screwed it in to the rav4 fascia.

The hardest part was literally just removing the old radio which was a little stuck but I've been wanting to replace it since the bottom part of the touch screen stopped working like 3 years ago which is super common with these and this was the trick.

The canbus decoder is specific. ​​​​​If you get a radio from vine that's not your model you ​will need one, but all these generic tablets that boast a 9-10" screen are all the same size just some have more border than the larger screens.

**THAT I'VE GOTTEN FROM VINE** 

now as I'm intending to put one in my cyberdeck build since they allow for peripherals and allow for two USB connections and have Bluetooth and audio/video output. They come with 2-4 GB of RAM and 32-128 GB of ROM from what I've been able to see on vine. ​​​

If you've got a Bluetooth mini keyboard with a track pad that you've probably also found on vine, that works on it too. There is custom software for these that I have no experimented ​​​​​​​​with yet. They do support a Raspberry Pi as an external server too. The ones I've seen on vine all come with GPS. The picture I included does not have the GPS cable plugged in yet since I don't want to show my exact location, but when I had this plugged in to a 120v DC adapter I downloaded all the area maps around here so I've always got those even if signal struggles. I can use my home wifi near the house or a Hotspot from my phone to update those maps too.

The radio itself supports sideloading and has full access to the Google Play store since it's Android 15 and has Android Auto and Carplay support which allows you to put two apps up side by side from your phone onto the radio screen.

It automatically ​​​​​​changes to dark mode when I turn the car headlights on, but that's customizable too.

The second hardest part was finding the right fascia as there are some super minute differences between models.

Third picture is the rear of the Radiohead. From left to right is the canbus cable set with the main power supply and the box attached is the canbus decoder, the RCA port which is pretty generic across the board, ​​canbus data connection port, 2 USB ports, one of mine is taken up by the car's installed USB port on the center console, and ​​another 8 pin port for the backup camera.

Now there are some other double din radio heads on vine that are smaller screens and stay within the frame of those two dins

They require some wire splicing and have ​​​​an ISO A/B canbus wiring harness instead of a 16 pin like these. They offer most of the same functionality sometimes with a different interface and sometimes as a single din radio
