Who are players who would be cheered by both fanbases of two rival teams?

I’m watching Yankees Old Timers day and Johnny Damon was welcomed back and got applause despite hitting one of the worst opposing HRs in Yankees history since he was an important player for the 2009 World Series team as well. So he’s an example of a guy who would be cheered by both Red Sox and Yankees fans. Got me thinking. Who are some other guys who thread this needle across any sport?
