Washing machine help!

So I went full 'mom brain's and I spilled a bunch of body oil (I'm talking several ounces) on my car rug. So I took the rug out, and then shoved it in my washing machine with some Ariel powder. And when I took it out, the rug still had oil and now there's oil inside the machine.

I'm running some rags in hot water with more Ariel detergent and a capful of Lestoil to try and get it out, but now I'm freaking out and scared to put any clothes in there. Is there anything I can do??

I have a whirlpool duet front loader.
