Planning a road trip: Family of 4 + Pet | Sakleshpur / Coorg / Wayanad – Need stay recommendations

Planning a road trip with my family (2+2) and our 3yr ShihTzu in mid October for 5 days.

route:
Bengaluru → Coorg / Sakleshpur → Wayanad → Bengaluru

Looking for good, clean and family homestays/resorts that are more about nature and the experience than luxury.

Our preferences:
Lush green / coffee estates / forest surroundings / quiet and relaxing only / No hurry touristic style

Ideally hills, valley views

Must be genuinely pet-friendly

We are looking for places where we can slow down, enjoy the surroundings, take walks, sit around in the evening and simply relax rather than pack the day with sightseeing.

If you’ve personally stayed at a place that genuinely fits this ???, I’d really appreciate your recommendations.

Especially interested in lesser-known gems rather than the usual commercial resorts.

Also open to suggestions on whether Sakleshpur, Coorg or Wayanad would be best for this kind of stay.
