start yaz pill right before vacation??

Hi everyone,
I’m 36 years old and have finally figured out that my depressive episodes are caused by PMDD. I’ve been taking sertraline for 5 years now and have already increased my dose to 100 mg during the PMDD phase - this gave me 2 better days, but I still had 5 days when I wasn’t able to function.
Now I’m considering taking the Yaz pill. My new cycle starts in 2 days, and I’d like to start asap to avoid the next PMDD phase - but I’m flying on vacation a week later and I’m worried about experiencing side effects or breakthrough bleeding while I’m there.
Can anyone help me and tell me what the first two weeks were like on Yaz? I’m also neurodivergent, in case that matters.
