Durable watch suggestions

I am looking for a durable automatic watch. I am running a lot of trails so my wrists make contact with lots of hard stuff. I am coming from the garmin world, but for now i know my routes/times/pace/hr etc, so I don't need it though. I need something much simpler + i am not a digital fun. Have u got anything to suggest?
