How often do you use/hear the phrase, "have a good one"?

I'm an Australian & this is something we say regularly. I've seen a few American videos divulging on Australian sayings & this one's comes up frequently. The general consensus from Americans is, have a good one what? which fair, I get it.

However I have recently seen some completely American videos, even where it's an exchange before a civilian & police officer use this so now I'm genuinely curious.

Ia this a part of general American English vocabulary? have you just pick it up from use Aussies? is this only coming in a specific region? I don't know. however I've seen this a few times now without Aussie influence & I'm curious to know if this is something us Aussies claim as our own... again.
