Tried posting this on the JMM subreddit, but didn't get approved. Mods might not be able to handle anything even remotely negative being said over there. Anyway, best not to be part of those communities.

I tend to wary of the whole "luxury" market, but these seem pretty great.

Read somewhere that the acetate is polished like crystal and have to agree with that. This is the nicest acetate I've ever seen. Waiting on some Matsudas to come back in stock to compare. They feel very solid as well. You can tell as soon as you handle them that they are not your typical acetate glasses. Not a huge fan of most of their oversized frames, but these seem perfect in terms of sizing.

Packaging is fantastic, easily the best I've seen, but I think a hard case should be standard for anything even half the price of these. This leather pouch is very nice, but it's useless.

Lenses had some tiny smudges on them out of the box, but not the end of the world.

The biggest issue is their customer service. I ordered these online, but I called the NY showroom a few times a month ago and no answer. Left messages and no call back. Same with email. Sent a few emails and response times are awful. Sometimes they don't answer at all. I don't know what kind of call/email volume they get, but at this price range, they have to do better. I think they've gotten to the point where they have more than enough people willing to pay these prices that they don't really care.

The glasses themselves are great. Hopefully there are no issues because I'm worried about having to deal with post sales service.
