Microshift mx/advent compatability

I have advent x on my surly preamble and trying to get a slightly lower granny gear without losing the top end speed.

I have the stock 11-48 but have heard other people fitting 11-51 10 speed cassettes as a hack, this might be the cheapest option.

I was also debating if possible could I put the mx shifter up front, use the stock advent x derailler, and toss on the 11 speed cassette. I see lots that says they’re all the same cable pull and should be cross compatible.

Of course I could just buy the mx shifter, derailleur, and cassette but that would be the most expensive option.

Curious if anyone has tried any of these in between options, and if the advent x derailleur can actually handle a little bigger cassette or not.
