Guest list advice

So for the most part my wedding will be child free but I do have a family friend with kids that I personally know. My finance and I are comfortable inviting them epically since two of them are older. The issue is my cousin also has kids and since he’s actually related to me it’s making some family members feel bad about not inviting his kids. They’ve started to make me feel guilty even though I’ve explained that we don’t know them and while they are family they feel like strangers whereas other kids who are coming feel like family. I curious what you would all do in this situation. At the end of the day I am comfortable doing what my finance and I want but I also don’t want to create unnecessary drama if most would consider this wrong.
