[Advice Needed] Final year ENSI student looking for an AI/Data PFE abroad (Feb 2027) + surviving part-time work.

Asslema everyone,

I’m heading into my final year of CS Engineering at ENSI, and the PFE search stress is officially starting. I’d love to get some real advice, reality checks, or tips from alumni or anyone working in the tech industry.

I’m specifically aiming for an AI / Data Science PFE starting in February 2027. I’m really passionate about this field and have spent a lot of time focusing on Applied AI, Machine Learning, and RAG architectures. I've tried to get my hands as dirty as possible with real projects—for example, I built an AI credit scoring platform using stacked ML ensembles, and recently placed 2nd in a national hackathon by building a prototype with an AI report classifier and a RAG assistant. I also integrated LLMs (Claude) for an AI Workflow Studio during a recent internship.

One thing I'm hoping gives me an edge is that I also have a solid backend background (Python, FastAPI, Spring Boot, Docker), so I can actually containerize and deploy the models I build.

My languages are B2 French and IELTS 6.5 English.

I have three main questions for those who have navigated this recently:

* The PFE Search: I'm really hoping to do my internship abroad (Europe/France/Germany). How is the market for AI/Data internships right now? Is it completely saturated, or are companies still hiring? What’s the best way to get my resume noticed?

* Post-PFE (CDI): For those who managed to secure a full-time contract abroad after their internship, what do you think was the deciding factor?

* The 3rd Year Hustle: I’d love to take on some part-time remote work or freelancing (data scraping, backend tasks, etc.) during my final semester. Is this complete madness with the ENSI 3rd-year workload? If you survived doing this, where did you find reliable remote gigs?

Thanks in advance for any insights or resources you can share!
