Hi! I'm a Russian high school student and I make custom PC cases as a hobby. This is probably the most ambitious one I've made so far.

The base is a used Cougar Dust 2 that I got for free from a guy on Avito, a Russian classifieds website. He had seen one of my previous custom cases and offered me this one because he originally wanted to turn it into a Cyberpunk 2077-themed case, inspired by one of the factions from the game. He never got around to doing it, though, so eventually it ended up with me.

The aluminum panels were heavily sanded, primed and painted. After that I spent a long time drawing on them by hand. I mainly used permanent markers and fineliners. The permanent markers weren't exactly the best choice, but they worked well enough. Some of the fineliners were actually ones my mom brought home from work.

For the physical modifications I used sandpaper, wire-brush attachments, cold welding compound and two-component epoxy. I also made the remaining panels, including the one with the figure and mesh, as well as the top panel and dust filters.

The whole project took more than a year from the first idea to the finished case, although the actual hands-on work was much, much less. There were some pretty long breaks in between.

Stylistically, I originally wanted something more underground and raw, but the design changed quite a bit during the process. There are also some references to UNNV, a Russian underground music group, and Neon Genesis Evangelion, along with a lot of random drawings and ideas that I added along the way.

The figure in the middle wasn't planned at all. I actually bought it for a completely different future project, but eventually it somehow ended up here. Sometimes the best parts of a project happen because you had no idea what you were doing.

Despite all the changes from the original idea, I'm really happy with how it turned out.

And yes, it's still a fully functional PC case. It keeps the original functionality of the Dust 2, including the option to install two fans on top.

I'm still experimenting and learning with every case I make, so I'd really appreciate any feedback, especially from people who are into PC modding.

Thanks for looking!
